Statement of Faith

Born of Him Ministries exists to preach Christ, strengthen the church, and serve pastors through pulpit supply and revival meetings.

I hold to historic, orthodox Christian belief as expressed in the major evangelical traditions, and I gladly work within the doctrinal boundaries of the churches I serve.

Core Beliefs

Scripture

I believe the Bible is the inspired, authoritative, trustworthy Word of God and the final rule for faith and life.

The Trinity

I believe in one God who eternally exists as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Jesus Christ I believe Jesus is fully God and fully man, the only Savior, who lived a sinless life, died for our sins, rose bodily from the dead, and will return.

Salvation

I believe salvation is by grace through faith in Christ alone. I joyfully affirm the work of the Holy Spirit in new birth, repentance, and sanctification.

The Church

I believe the local church is God’s primary means of discipleship, mission, and gospel witness. I respect and honor the doctrinal convictions of each church I serve.

Christian Living

I believe believers are called to walk in the Spirit, pursue holiness, love one another, and live out the gospel in everyday life.

Doctrinal Range

I am shaped by the richness of the Christian tradition, including:

• Baptist convictions about believer’s baptism and local church autonomy

• Reformed emphasis on God’s sovereignty, grace, and the centrality of Scripture

• Wesleyan appreciation for holiness, spiritual formation, and practical discipleship

I understand the differences between these traditions and am committed to preaching within the doctrinal boundaries of the church I am serving.
